Mobile Site and Android App

I can't work out if this is a problem with the Android OS (2.1) or not, but sometimes after using the CPod app, if I make or receive a call, the lesson starts to play after I hang up. If I make another call, the lesson pauses, but when I hang up the lesson resumes, but a second version of the lesson starts to play over the top! There is no way to kill off the lesson except by switching the phone off.
I've seen some strange voice dialler bugs logged, but that seems to be related to something to do with having headphones plugged in.

Looks like there has been some kind of fix, however now I can't download the media file? Is this a temporary problem?

Another fun thing, RJ, is that you can't manage lessons on the mobile site effectively at all. I certainly hope this a quick fix, as I have no other effective way of accessing lessons. Money down the drain at present.

I've discussed with the tech team the issue you've raised about dashboard feed data and mobile app feed data being different. The old mobile app's use feed data from the old (pre-dashboard) platform. That's why it's not the same as your personal feed on the main site.
Using version 2.0 of the app will help you avoid this problem. Lessons will then be added to your feed via the groups you belong to, in the order of publication date.

So you are either saying that the mobile and Android functions were deliberately compromised to speed up the dashboard roll-out and you chose not to notify anybody, or that the IT mechanics at cpod missed this as an inevitable consequence of the change. Both are unacceptable from a customers point of view. The mobile site and android apps have both been loudly touted in the past. I recently bought an i-touch and I have spent significant time trying to figure out how to control what lessons are seen on the mobile site.
One can see that lessons are manually delivered to the mobile app by bookmarking them to the dashboard. Unfortunately the only way to do this to lessons already marked as "studied" is to "remove" them and then re-find them in the lesson section where you can now bookmark. In the old system you could re-bookmark "studied" lessons from the archived (studied) section back to the home (dashboard) page. I need to do this in several cases:
1. time to re-study a lesson
2. send a lesson to the mobile site
3. I bought a new i-touch and I needed to set up a new i-tunes sync page. In order to get all past lessons to i-tunes I had to re-bookmark all of them, which is now a lot of work. I have decided now to leave all lessons I like on the homepage indefinitely and not use the "studied" option. Of course now the progress monitoring doesn't work but I care little about this. So again I ask that the ability to re-bookmark studied lessons from the archive section on the home page, be reinstated.

Hi Sebire. Yes I've just clarified. That's my misunderstanding. They're still working on 2.0, which will come out in a few months. I've asked them to release a fix in the meantime (like 1.5) but we're still waiting to hear back if that could be done quickly (or if it wouldn't just be better to wait for 2.0). Sorry for the mix-up.

Hi Catherine, it appears only version 1.2 is available on the Android market at the moment. Thanks for investigating.

Thanks Sebire. I'm going to check on which data goes into these feeds and get back to you about it. Will also find out about the order.
