You have internet at home? If you don't, you might consider a smartphone a pretty wise purchase.
If you are being super thrifty, and you can't abide the thought of that and it isn't blocked - something like the site 'proxify' might allow a workaround.
They probably blocked it because five lunchtimes times a couple of meg files is equivalent in size to the whole office single day browsing. So your boss probably blocked it based on that, and not because S3 is bad. Find something critical to your company hosted through that :) and mention it to whoeer does IT.

I did not even think about burning some audio CD's. We're so caught up with internet access and smartphones, that we sometimes forget about old school technology.
