I love that music. Great choice jpvillanueva. Brazilian is probably the most beautiful language in the world!

Joachim,
I think the Google office in Zurich is probably the best office space in the history of mankind. Unbelievable.

JP,
Que música fantástica: "esta mulata quando dança é luxo só." E a nova fábrica está linda também.
Sorry about the Portuguese JP, but with that bossa nova in the background, I couldn't resist.

These look very nice, indeed!
I currently only know of the new Google offices in Zürich to top these:

I'm glad you all got to upgrade. I remember when my friend and I found the old place for a visit. On our way in, we were wondering if we had gotten the address wrong!
A quality product now made at a quality place.

light487, The practice plan subscription is like having a premium subscription, except you get a phone (or skype call) call every day to practice your lesson of the day for 10 minutes or so.
I used it for a couple months last year before a trip to China and found the practice plan to be real useful service.

The new factory is very slick and bright. Is it heated? I saw a little coffee/tea bar. That looked really nice. And one of the best things as far as I am concerned is that the practice plan teachers have their own direct dial numbers. I no longer have to go through the recording and dial the extension. Huge improvement! I hope you will all be happy there. It is rare in this world to find a job that you really enjoy.

Tonyc,
To be honest, we don't really miss the old factory. We love this new place! We're all so happy here.
I'm sure, with time, we'll miss the old factory, but in kind of a "high school nostalgia" sort of way... it's fun to think of the good old days, but you wouldn't really want to return to them! :)

Hi casie,
Just out of curiosity, 你的父母,朋友们,老师们,一般怎么称呼你啊?小林,小甜,小芳,林同学,还是”甜芳”?你有没有小名?

As far as I can judge from the new factory,
their business model seems to have been successful.

May 08, 2008 at 06:45 PMWell, yes, of course Portuguese, but of the Brazilian variant. Quite a significant difference, IMHO
