:)
I've add it to "My Chinese Name" on facebook. You can have a formal name and as many Chinese nickname as you want I think.

Yes context is very important here ;) (heh heh). It's funny I had a dicussion with one of the other members about Jenny vs. Amber and I had to go with Jenny...Amber scores a 10 Jenny a 10+! I'm sure you'd have to agree.
The more I think about it the more I like 巴泽 especially in the context of "to hope for kindness".

It sounds ok pronounced by TextAloud, although I'd be better to hear Jenny say it, preferably with 我爱 in front of it, just for some context. ;)

okay...that's nice. So it's kind of like "to hope kindness". ^_^

I thought it was just better concentrate on the best meaning of the character plus I think 泽 is a very nice looking character.

How about 巴泽? (ba ze) I like how the latter character means kindness.

Yea I like 跋匝 but they all work. You need some native advice I think.

I'm guessing that you like to travel, so how about 跋匝 (bázā)? I think it's "travel around" or something similar, right?

I would probably go with a ze word (assuming you pronounce the last syllable "zuh".

You can have 吧咂 (bā za), but that means 'to smack the lips' apparently.

That could work. I was thinking the second syllable (za) is more a neutral tone rather than first tone. Is there such a word in Chinese?

December 19, 2007 at 11:50 PMOh just ONE other thing about the character "泽", it's a character in the name of the great Akira Kurosawa director the The Seven Samurai, Ran, Rashamon etc., some of the GREATEST MOVIES OF ALL TIME and a major influence on George Lucas' work!
Simplified: 黑泽明
Traditional: 黒澤 明
