Hello,

Does anyone have a recommendation on best method for streaming Chinese language television outside of China? I'd like to watch a bit for comprehension practice.

Thanks,

In addition, Youku and Tudou both have iPhone apps, so you can watch them on the go.

That is one scary avatar!

Thanks for the apps tip. I don't have an iPhone but I'm hoping for an iPad very soon.

www.youku.com or www.tudou.com it's not streaming, but it has plenty of Chinese television programs.  It's like youtube, but with complete versions of Chinese television shows.

The SBS Australia daily news in Chinese (Google it) is very clearly spoken and it has enormous English subtitles.  It is very good for listening practice and the stories are not boring like most Chinese TV.

Such a well-kept secret even an Australian resident like me with great interest in language and who watches SBS everyday didn't know about it... Thanks bodawei for the tip!
