I still haven't solved my troubles with the computer and doing Chinese, and I haven't gotten back into the studying habit, either!
Until I do, I think I should take time off from our weekly phone calls. I will e mail you with questions from time to time if that is okay.

If you know of any recommendations for Chinese language word processing software for a Mac computer, please let me know!
I used to use NJStar with the PC, and I feel rather lost without it.

Happy New Year to you! I hope you had a pleasant holiday and that you were able to see your familiy.
I have had a very, very busy last few months, and it has been so long since I've even been on the Chinesepod site, or even studied Chinese! Since November, I have been traveling more than ever. I also had my computer crash and it never got its sound back. I am now working on a new computer, a Mac, and am looking at software for writing in Chinese. And starting my Anki flashcards all over again on the new computer. Computers are great but they can be a lot of trouble.
I will be traveling this weekend and the next weekend as well, and will be back on the 21st of February. I hope I can catch up with some Chinese before then. It may be like starting over!

哦，是这样的，春节快要到了，所以我从23号开始休徦回老家过年，2月13号开始上班。所以我们可能要2月13号才能 “见”了。

I'm sorry to have been so absent these past few weeks. So much travel and end of the year busyness has completely overwhelmed my schedule.
I think we should plan on getting back on schedule Jan. 2nd (my time). Let me know if that doesn't work for you.

不过1月2号 （your time）我们不上班哦，因为元旦节我们要放三天假，也就是1月1号、2号和3号三天。所以我们下次课应该是1月9号了。

Hello, Helen,
Yes, I'm very well. Sorry about last weekend; I ended up having to take lao er to the Urgent Care Center because she was so sick! Anyway, we were finally able to see a doctor and I wasn't able to answer any phone calls.
She's much better, but she had a very bad virus.
I've been working on some transcripts for the group Transcripts with Tal. It's good to have other language learners' collaboration but I think we're stuck in a couple of places and I would like to ask for your help with this:

Hi, Helen,
I definitely didn't post it as a comment to the dialog section of the Job Shopping lesson.
Here is how I am able to find my post: at the bottom of the Dashboard page I click on "view all conversations". It takes me to a page with tabs for "Conversations", "Groups", "Posts", "Ranking", and "Team". When I click on "Posts" I see the post I made entitled "Job Shopping".
I am so sorry this is confusing. Perhaps you and I should simply communicate under one title that we already have in our "group".
