Is it just me, or do the sentence re-ordering tests not work in Chrome?

(Chrome 6.0.472.63 for Mac)

I have this intermittent problem with chrome portable all the time. I mentioned it before on site, and back then the policy was they can't support all browser types, so use a different browser.

it probably goes too far, but the drag and drop code introduces a delay - maybe too long for Chrome and other browsers. However, the drag and drop code gets cached and will be executed once you reload it.

Often, at least in certain browser/os/processor constellations, when you open the page the first time, and quickly scroll down to the sentence reordering, you can still mark the text, and after a few seconds your cursor will change to the 4-arrow one which indicates, that drag and drop is ready to go.

In every lesson, when I click to drag I just select rather than drag (I get the I-bar cursor rather than the 4-arrow one. But Matthias' fix works for me - it's better after a reload.

Thanks!

hey laomache,

the exercise was stuck first for me too, but try to reload the page (F5) - it will work then.

Hey Laomache, I just tried one of the exercises (on the recent National Day lesson) with the exact same browser/OS as you, and it worked for me. Can you provide some more details about the problem you had? Is it every lesson, or just a few? How is it not working (i.e., can you not drag and drop them, or is it showing that your order is wrong no matter what you do, etc.)? Thanks!
