Hi peterning11,
I Signed Out using my Android app (v 2.07), reauthenticated, then Signed In again. But still no lessons on my dashboard.
Then I uninstalled, downloaded, and reinstalled, and now finally I have my lessons in my dashboard. Perhaps the older version of the app had left something on the phone that prevented lessons to be downloaded.
Anyway, I'm happy for now. Thanks for your help.

Hi alexyzye, I see in your account that you only have 2 lessons in your dashboard. Advanced - 蚁族 and Upper Intermediate - Taxable Salary. Are these two lessons appearing in your App? Please note that our Android App lessons list corresponds with the lessons on your dashboard. Please log out of your Android App then log back in if these two lessons are not appearing on your App.

Hello everyone, I'll forward your issues onto the tech team. We're on holiday for the next few days, but I'll make sure they get word that something is going on. Very sorry that the problems are continuing despite the update.

The 2.0.7 is available through the Google Market App, although its not without problems itself.

I just upgraded from version 2.0 to 2.0.6 last night, hoping that the Dashboard feature would have fixed the duplicate lessons bug. Well, in a way it did, because now I get NO LESSON whatsoever on the Android app Dashboard. I saw the new Advanced lesson appear on the website, but it did not appear on my Android app even after I pressed Sync. Went to bookmark this lesson from the website, yet it did not appear on my Android app.
Can someone please confirm if this is a problem with the Android app or this particular lesson?
Thanks.

Hi Alex,
We will be on a 3-day public holiday from the 22nd to the 24th September. Could I suggest that you hold off updating till the 25th when we are back at work so that we could help you more speedily? I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Hi Matthiask, we will be releasing our new manage lesson system as well as our Android 2.0.6 next Tuesday or Wednesday. Our new Android update should be in sync with your manage lessons "All Active Lessons" list. This should resolve your current Android App issue.

Sweet! Update next week.. I really hope some of the community features are in it.
I don't want to steal the post but to add to the android pot... I have noticed I seem to have hundreds of lesson that appear in my list that are not in my lesson stream on the homepage of the site.
It means I can only really use the app when looking at bookmarked lessons.

Hi hamshank,
Thanks for the URL. Just installed it. WOW I just remembered how much I used to enjoy the old version.

Hi... I think it is here.
http://download.praxislanguage.com/apk/chinesepod-apk/chinesepod.zip
The file itself say 1.2...when I have it installed it says v20 but in a nutshell it's an old version without community features.

Hi hamshank, what is the URL to the 1.2 apk file? Thank you.

You can still get the old version off this website directly because they don't seem to be updating it....That is the one I am using...
I seem to have the opposite problem....I can't get a newer version of the app because my Android Market in Taiwan does not have the app.
CPOD should make all versions available to download off the website. That way people without the app in the market can upgrade and others that are having a problem with the latest version can take a step back or two till they are happy.

I updated to version 2.05 yesterday and found it completely unusable. The new lesson yesterday did not appear even after I bookmarked it, and old lessons appeared randomly. Had to uninstall. Hopefully can find the old version 1.x. NOT HAPPY CPOD !

nope, they still have the 1.2 version online (thankfully).
The 2.04 version available in the market has an extended lesson page, and a new way of displaying the lessons.

Thanks for all the help matthiask but I must not have the same version. If I bring up the menu option I just have Lessons, Flashcards, Settings and Queue.
Inside each lesson I only have Listen, Intro, Dialogue, vocab, expansion, mark as studied and removed!
I'm starting to get a little paranoid that I might be being really stupid and missing something obvious.
CPOD...Are you placing the latest files on the website for direct downloading of the APK file?

if you can find a groups button, you will see the lesson groups and the community groups.
Also, in a lesson, you should have a comments section.

I seem to be able to download a lesson yes....Cannot find the community stuff though.

Really? I have either missed it completely or I have a slightly lower version. I think I have 2.0 (It actually says 20).. The app is not available in the Android market in Taiwan so I have to download it from the site and load it on myself.
Thanks for the info.

Hi hamshank,
there are a lot of community features in the new app 2.04 - you can read and reply to all community posts already.
However, my warning goes out that the navigation is quite cumbersome if you like to listen to more than one level.

Thanks for your quick reply/fix/magic. ^_^

September 21, 2010 at 10:57 AMCan someone confirm if the latest version 2.0.6 really fixes the duplication problem? I really want to make sure the latest app is working properly before updating from my 2.0 version.
Thanks.
