běifāng jiàngyǔ shǎo ，gānhàn 。suǒyǐ wǒ xiǎng “chūnyǔ guì rú yóu ”zhīlèi de yànyǔ yīnggāi shì běifāngrén zǒngjié chūlái de 。bùguò rénmen cháng shuō ：nǚrén shì shuǐ zuò de ，nánfāng shīrùn de qìhòu duì nǚxìng de pífū dàoshì bǐjiào hǎo 。

In the north there's little rainfall, so it's dry. That's why I think "spring rain is as precious as oil" and similar sayings probably came out of the north. But people often say that women are made of water, and the moist climate of the south is better for a woman's skin.
