There is no engine, no gas tank, no exhaust emission. It has basically zero emissions. But if you consider the effect of the car on the environment, you can't just look at exhaust pipes. Tesla doesn't run on air, it uses electricity. And electricity comes from different fuels: for example, nuclear power, natural gas, and coal, which pollutes the environment the most.
