January 29, 2008 at 1:23 AMSuper6i: I know this is going way way back, but regarding 你挡了我的路了, the usage of the double 了 is indicating that an action happened in the past but it is still continuing. So 你挡了我的路了, means "you (have) blocked my way (and are still continuing to block my way)."

The one we should probably use in the case of being Chinesepod Warriors, would be "侠" which is a type of chivalrous warrior from ancient China very much like a Samurai. It's the character you'll find in titles like 蝙蝠侠, biān fú xiá, (Batman) and 蜘蛛侠 zhī zhū xiá(Spiderman), so these are literally, "Bat-warrior", and "Spider-warrior"
