A brief wikipedia tells me:

Pediatrics

While the packaging of melatonin often warns against use in children, at least one long-term study[86] does assess effectiveness and safety in children. No serious safety concerns were noted in any of the 94 cases studied by means of a structured questionnaire for the parents. With a mean follow up time of 3.7 years, long-term medication was effective against sleep onset problems in 88% of the cases.

No indication of why you'd do it for studying though. It's primarily thought of as a sleep medication (and not a very good one).

Is it me, or is Sarah getting more and more English with every News and Features? We even got an "oh gosh!" in this one. Are you deliberately poshing it up? :)

Not that I object, mind you. Since I now live in Birmingham, home of the most ... unique accent in Britain, hearing a lovely rounded voice speaking in what I'd call a proper accent every week is just what I need :p ...

Not that I'm into posting creepy fan comments.

Someone help me out here. Someone.

Anyone?

不好意思了。。。

Two questions that arose in my mind from this.

1) What's the difference between 但是(dànshì) and 可是(kěshì)?

2) In the final sentence, he says, "没时间" (méishíjiān). I've heard it previously as "没有时间" (méiyǒushíjiān). Is there any difference? Is it just down to flow? Otherwise there's no verb, right?

yours, confused.

Oh, I was being rhetorical, but thank you! How would you describe yourself as being in disarray then? Just like 我太乱?Or is it more for 这个讨论太乱。。。

Hmn, whilst bumping tons of posts up the conversation list with search terms, making it even harder than it already was to keep up with new conversations :-p
