April 13, 2010 at 9:01 AMDunno who this little dragon dude is, but he sounds awesome ;)
Speaking of good atmosphere, You know what I'd really like to see on the site? A video tour of chinesepod! Suxiaoya with a camcorder whizzing around the Cpod offices saying hi to the programmers, a teacher in the middle of a lesson, a podcast being recorded - "this is what we do here!" kind of thing. Just as a bonus add-on - doesn't need any video production in particular, just something brief and friendly to make us all feel part of the family.
Especially if you can catch Connie in the middle of one of her violent screaming fits, waving her gun around because someone made her tea wrong ;-)

April 13, 2010 at 8:57 AMThis Qing Wen is both very funny, and very useful!
I'm still a little confused about the difference between 再说一遍 which I've always heard previously as 再说一次 (particularly in the pimsleur series, that's repeated to death, (重复死了?))

April 13, 2010 at 8:41 AMIt's quite poetic really. Treats a smile like a sunrise. When the laugh rises and comes!

April 13, 2010 at 11:56 AMThe definition I saved in my vocab list was "smug about one's appearance". I must have taken it from another lesson! Love the fact it appears in more than one!
Haha, a tongue lashing!
