I've no idea what they were called, I just recognised them from the description. They were kind of gluey to eat, right?

Actually, come to think of it, it wasn't in a restaurant, I think we had them at home... or in a restaurant... argh, sorry, my memory is really blurry, it was a couple of years ago. I just remember the taste!

Possibly it's a generation thing. My girlfriend's dad (in his late 50s) repeatedly talks her down in front of his work colleagues (e.g. "I'm so disappointed in my daughter").

So from my sample size of 1, I conclude this is a pervasive generation trend!
