Hi,

In the expansion sentences for "suan4 le" there is a translation missing in the first sentence. Can somebody help me?

Thanks!

Hi,

Also what is the difference between "lǐjiě" and "míngbái" - they both mean "to understand" ?

And on the fourth set of expansion sentences, the ones for "zhīdào" in the first sentence the pin yin for "answer" is missing

Hi!

A couple of questions

(1) "lái" means "to come" and "let me" ??

(2) "qǐng" means "to invite" and "please" ??

(3) The pdf appears to be wrong. One of the sentences on the pdf is not on the podcast, they use a different sentence

(4) is there a tone on the "chu" part of "qīngchu" ? The pdf's do not have one but it sounds like there may be a third tone to me.

Thanks!

Hi guys,

Just to clarify,

" nǎ lǐ "  in this case means "there" as opposed to "where"!?

A couple of questions and id appreciate if the answers use pin yin and not hanzi as im not learning hanzi! :-)

(1) Why is "ta1men ye3 qu4 ma?" past thense while "ta1men qu4 kan4 dian4ying3" is future tense!?

(2) Does guo generally indicate past perfect?

(3) Why does "wo3men qu4 guo le" mean "we have been there before" and not "we have gone"

As always thanks in advance!
