April 4, 2008 at 9:14 PMThis was really interesting, Thanks Amber. I am Hopefully going to Taiwan in July to Teach English as a second language. I'm going to be employed by a School there. Rather than make it on my own. So I own have a better idea of what may be expected, especially if I do private tution.

April 3, 2008 at 6:59 PMI agree with Ken about learning Chinese, I think if you took it character by character then you won't get a good understanding, as a lot of Chinese is word groups such as 今天. I'm trying to learn the phrases and maybe changing so of the words. Also like to publicly thank Adi from ChinesePod for being quick and nice about changing my username.

April 14, 2008 at 11:05 AMNice to hear Amber and Clay's Chinese shopping trips. Even though I love Qing Wen, is it possible to tell/show us Newbies some simple sentences with these particles, either in Qing Wen or in the lessons. Thanks
