Tal, Too complicated, but thanks. Anyway, here's the text, in case anyone wants to trawl it for hidden messages.

Well I went to IE and the CPOD site looks even more broken. All the top part of the page is missing: nowhere for me to log in . Sorry sports fans, I gotta get on with my life now and do something constructive now. I did make a screenshot though just in case they come to take me away ;-).

I swear I am making this up! Now I'm getting paranoid that I am the one who has been hacked. I don't know how to post pictures into comments pages any more; maybe I can PM you. I will try another browser too.

I am seeing three pieces of what looks like dummy data or placeholders: 3 identical but apparently random photos that change with each visit, and identical text in each that is completely in Latin, or something that looks like Latin. Tal and I are, (I think) seeing the same thing, and both of us are currently (I think) in China. At least I'm sure I am in China, not ancient Rome. That's why I said either CPod had been hacked or had the site under construction. It reminds me of the time I was able to see a "What's the Story" video from within China but not outside. I guess they run separate servers.

Thanks, and I just cleared my cache and still seeing Latin and I don't get either a lesson picture for this lesson or ability to play the audio. Maybe it will work in IE. Anybody else out there having problems with the site today?

Off topic, but do you have any experience with Windows 8 in China? Do you or other users have thoughts on buying a Win 8 machine in China (to be used outside of China. Would it be possible to change all the OS labels to English. (Not that I wouldn't want them in Chinese, of course . . . just asking. Sorry again for hijacking the thread.
