Here is my go....

我昨天晚上需要学习很多,所以我熬夜。 Actually, I don't feel very confident in this sentence. Seems like what it is, a translation from English.

不好意思我这么累了,我昨晚熬夜学习。 This feels better.

很有意思。。。I got that it wasn't a real tortoise, but a tortoise shaped creature. But not that it was a package deal with the snake shaped creature. Also, I was not mentally prepared for them to be the discarded and animated stomach and intestines of an up and coming new god.

Thanks! Do you happen to know what's up with the blue-green snake that is wrapped around the tortoise?

Ah! I get ya on the right-wing thing. I was thinking my eating of animal products excluded me from the extreme left, which can be pretty hard-core about being soft and cuddly.

RJ... I know! "four-be-two's"... teeheehee

Well, I'd've (like my double contraction?) put eating of eggs, dairy and fish on the right-wing end of the vegetarian cultural dimension.... Maybe it is one of those hemisphere things... like the water swirling the opposite direction. And we are country people. I never really said that in the US because my town had about 20,000 people so is properly a city, but now that I am in China I say with confidence, "We are country people." My aunt lived on the outskirts of that 20,000. It was probably less people then anyway.

And based on my thorough internet research, yes, a 2x4 is a four-be-two.
