Recently I have reverted to the Elementary levels, thinking i was a 'big boy' with the Intermediate stuff
I find the Elementary lessons are really 'filling in the cracks' in the grammar, while I was swimming in the deep end'.
Great class - great structure - gonna find a Chinese person to inflict the conditional on.

May 29, 2015 at 9:19 AMHere's my understanding of 刚刚 and 现在. They often use double words like 谢谢，早早，非常非常，literally thanks thanks, morning morning, really really as in 非常非常漂亮 ' really, really nice'. It gives the language (spoken or written) more intimacy or immediacy - as in 我刚刚来了 'I've just arrived' 。
Now 现在 is used in the present tense of a doing verb as in ' I am studying Chinese' 我现在学习中文‘

很有妈妈的感觉 , 我现在满脑子都是宝宝
once you have this type of phrase you can use it as a boilerplate for thinking up your own.
我现在满脑子都是 ...... and 很有.......的感觉
it provides a really good springboard for learning.
