we'll have to get together for a few sherbets down the oasis or something, seeing that we live in the same town.
i decided to sign a contract to avoid all the visa headaches. haven't been for a visa run since november 07.
however, interestingly, this month i had a knock on the door from the local psb. he barged in and started looking around suspiciously. gave him my passport and explained to him where i worked and that he should already have the details on file. he looked at me as if i was a criminal.
march in chengdu, a lot of jackboots crawling about. foreigners being kicked out of the tibetan wuhou district in town, and local tibetan monks avoiding eye contact with foreigners on the street.
xuchen, what's been your experience this month?

样品 means sample product(n) .so i'd say 样张 means sample document or something to that effect.

英文里也有那样的说法，更确切地说有差不多的说法，就是：
better out than in.
and also, but a little more 粗糙 :

中文说法有一点文明的。

我能理解你的烦恼，这肯定对大陆居民很敏感并使人激情反应。虽然他是这里的员工，他不过也有权讲述个人的观点。所以说他个人的观点跟他职位没有关系，不能说是不职业的行为。
