i'm flattered, but i really can't accept that much praise, particularly since it's not deserved.
who knows what i write is correct or not, i don't. no-one corrects what i write except the occasional good hearted chinese (and pete yesterday, cheers mate ;-) )member or visitor who take the time, which i really appreciate.
i really am lazy and should review a lot of the grammar i once learnt. i write from memory and do not use dictionaries to post but do use them to read other posts and newspaper articles etc.
there are many others here that are way beyond my level but do not post that often.
i really am envious of the cpod staff who are corrected before posting. in particular, john who gets to work close to jenny and connie.i was lucky enough to be an observer of one of their lesson preps and recordings. i never heard or spoke to pete in chinese but i'm sure, according to his comments, posts and translation work as well as his poetry lessons, that its very good.

呵呵，我写得太口语化好像，我女友说的一样哈，他高考中文考不及格，不过英文考的100分之90以上，英语写得好得很，可是她却说不出口。她是我的可爱美丽聪明能干的农民宝贝儿。我这两年住在成都，可能受到了他四川话的影响我觉得（我觉得我可能。。。的影响）
上面语法真的很乱七八糟，成都人说话就是那样。
他们讲的是关于用三声的语法规则。都是三声我晓得喽，呵呵！谢你呀

we're usually a little more direct in australia(where jenny has spent a lot of time i believe) and just call it how it is, a rich area or rich neighbourhood, or posh area/neigbourhood

‘你该我买’， 可能我听力不太好，可是这个句子我经常听到我女友说。发音是 你3/给2我2买3. 我感觉是对的,也许他的中文不标准，不过听起来很自然。

其实澳洲方言本来有几百个。 虽然白人来澳洲那时澳洲原住民人口算是少，不到100万，可是方言很多，无论哪儿去都讲方言，外地原住民不懂。白人来澳洲以后，因为白人带来的特有欧洲性和其他的地方一些疾病而很多原住民死亡，原住民免疫系统不能够克服那些疾病，从来没碰过，再说白人和原住民为控制和防卫土地而斗争，所以目前的原住民的方言较少数。
英语方言呢？没有啊！英语就是英语。澳洲英语发音无论到哪儿去，都差不多， 不像英国和美国那样大广泛的发音不同。
