i'll rephrase shall I, East Asians. When I think of Asia as a concept, regardless of what we are programmed to accept, I think of East Asia.
Clumping together such a large landmass and rich variety of cultures is simplification and ignorance personified. Why not include europe as well, i mean there is a continuous landmass from kamchatka to portugal.
my logic tells me that you are trying to wiggle out of something by nitpicking. but nevertheless, your right. thank you for your marvellous insights.
From now on europe shall be known as west asia, the people who live there westerners.

yeah 串串香 (chuan4chuan4xiang1)is spicy, there are many types, you can also order a non-spicy pot at some of the larger establishments. bit like hot pot, only everything is usually on a stick and you pay by the stick. to pay the bill you simply yell out 数签 (shu3qian1)。as a matter of fact locals use this expression no matter where they are to indicate they are ready to pay the bill. a person who counts the sticks at the end of your meal is a 数签子
a literal translation for 串串香 is 'stick（bamboo） stick fragrant'。
