October 1, 2009 at 6:53 AMI did hear on the qqvine that Chairman Mao's grandson is advocating for a change of date for the national holiday, to coincide with the birthday of the illustrious and ubiquitous revolutionary liberator, the great Chairman Mao.
Did anyone else also hear of this proposal? I'm not sure of public opinion on the matter, but those i've spoken to seem very excited and moved by the idea.
Perhaps in the not so distant future we'll be celebrating on a different day 一石二鸟

all three are correct as far as I know. according to my girlfriend sitting next to me, 那时候、那个时候 can only be used for past tense.
for future tense you could use 到那个时候。
到那个时候，再说。

中国人不是那样觉得，天堂不是在西方，我不过觉得西方法律、教育、福利、医疗社保这类公平的系统和组织在西方国家对居民有利益，觉得相当公平的。因此，西方的这些为了保佑人民的组织和系统很受中国人的欢迎。 说实话，很多中国人为此就想获得这些人道德措施，觉得与其移民，不如向内改善。

上西天 has two meanings. 上西天 包含两个意义。
the first is to die and go to heaven, but the second is to seek out the buddha to gain insights on how to protect others.

long time no see.
i have to say i totally agree. i hear now that even workers are whinging about not having the right to a day off or to overtime pay and are even stooping so low as to complain about safety standards. on top of this they threaten to jump off buildings if the boss is a bit short on funds come pay day, or pay year or month or whatever.
Gee whizz mate, imagine the disruption to progress if they ever get the right to vote. i'll have to wait another ten years for the subway. some people just dont get it -fascists or bleeding heart idealists the lot of em- That is, the need to sacrifice for the benefit of the majority. Hasn't china already got enough people, surely a few construction accidents resulting in death or permanent injury won't make a difference to the overall effort and goal to get rich and glorious.
lets hear it for the right to deny rights, the righteous right.
