November 7, 2007 at 3:22 PMHi Nelfie, I didn't really know about ChinePera-kun either before everyone started talking about it here. I just googled it and found an add-on for firefox. You just go here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3349 I'm not sure what to do if you don't use firefox, maybe someone else can answer that. It's a big help for reading characters, you just move the cursor over a character and the translation will pop up like it does in the Cpod dialogues.

November 2, 2007 at 8:18 AMInspired by Frank I took a serious stab at this lesson as well and had one of those little moments where I felt very good about how much I've actually learned since I joined Cpod at the end of June. Of course I still can't say much but I'll get there some day. :-) Nothing in it was too difficult for me to handle with a little patience and time except for one of those pesky little particles Chinese is so full of: 着 As there's nothing in grammar section about it yet, I hope one of you would do me the pleasure of explaining how it's used.

November 2, 2007 at 7:49 AMHmm, first you gave us the scary clown picture, and now a picture that looks like something from a Japanese horror movie. It must be the season... :-)

October 31, 2007 at 3:26 PMI suspect that getting sick from drinking coke with ice has more to do with dirty ice machines than the drink being cold. You would be amazed how many germs there can be in an ice cube sometimes.

October 29, 2007 at 9:15 AMWow, that's one creepy clown you've found there. I wonder how much all of this fear of clowns is to blame on Stephen King and 'It'. And who is the 'sicko' at Cpod who came up with this idea? ;-)

October 28, 2007 at 2:28 PMI went to the cinema to see the Director's cut! It was the first time I had a chance to see it on the big screen and it was amazing. There's something about watching a movie on the big screen I'm willing to pay for even if I've seen it many times before on video.

November 8, 2007 at 10:32 AMEnglish is'nt my first language so I can't really comment on the correctness but if it's some sort of mixed-up language written by a native English speaker I'm not that surprised. In my experience it doesn't take long for a second language to mess up your first language when you live surrounded by the second language.
