旧书,旧车,旧衣服,旧房子 implies that it's worn out, outdated. 旧友 is also OK, but it is literary language and sounds formal.
老 can be used for both both people and things, seems more abstract, for example, 老人,老朋友,老同学,老张老王,老房子 implies ”respect,cherish,deep feelings"
There is overlap, for example, 旧脑筋/老脑筋, 老机器/旧机器。 They both have the sense of outdated.
However, 你看起来一点儿也不老。can not be: 你看起来一点儿也不旧。

Actually, “我早就到了这里。”and ”我早就到这里了。“ are interchangeable. "早就.....了" is a sentence pattern indicate the completion of an action.
我早到这里。is incorrect.
