When I write the word "巾帼", is it understood as woman's headdress or woman ?

关于圣门贞德, 我觉得巾帼英雄的巾帼难合适一种盔甲英雄。用巾帼在甲上很奇怪(古怪)。 ;o)

如果卧室没有窗户, 风水会怎么样?

我觉得这一定是相当糟糕的。

Hi Changye,

For me, your "成不了龙,成鸿也行" could also make sense as itself without any GongFu reference but thinking of “成龙” as a name brings an interesting second layer of understanding.

Btw, in my last message I first tried to make a basic sentence using 成败 as a verb but had to quickly reconsider everything after I gave it another thought. ;o)

如果望女成功还是失败得不得了, 就可以成疯。

望女成凤 Vs 望女成疯

一路顺风 Vs 一路顺疯

In the supplementary vocabulary, 一路顺风 reminds me of the following picture :

This new "Karate Kid" movie about a little black boy who wants to learn Kung-Fu is called 《功夫梦》.

But, it would have been funny and politically incorrect if it used the same pattern of title as the first series with 《小黑子难缠》.

The first "Karate Kid" movie with the little white boy was called 《小子难缠》 (the tiresome little guy / the unreasonable little guy).

Here is a good example of the usage of 甘受到 :

不甘受到压制

It's interesting to see how it is used :
