I apologize for the language. This is not the kind of language we use in lessons. I will be very careful about it in the future.

Yes, you could also interpret 你再不来,我就走了 as ""If you don't get here soon, I'm going to leave". 再 could indicate that some time has passed. For example, 我再等一会儿/I will wait (even) a bit longer.

Aiyo, cute overload. Kittens are irresistibly adorable. But they grow up and scare me with their all-knowing stares.

Marty,

Great to see you on the site! I think it will take a good 1 hour from Minhang to People's Square.

There is no difference between 公共汽车/gōnggòngqìchē and 公交车/gōngjiāochē. They both mean public buses. It is completely up to you which one you want to use.

不就行了 functions like a rhetoric question. It means "Wouldn't it be fine if he did not eat those things?"

You are welcome. You can use 种 in this case. "This kind of allergy is quite common in my country." "这种过敏在我国家很常见。”

"Do you have any allergies?" or "Are you allergic to anything?" 你对什么东西过敏吗?

We don't use measure words for "allergies" in Chinese. If you want to be specific about the types of allergies, you can say "我对......过敏”,e.g. 我对花粉、猫、花生过敏。”

Méi is used to negate actions that happen in the past. So "Zénme méi dǎdiànhuà gěi wǒ" means "why didn't you call me?" Bù negates verbs in simple present tense or future tense. "Zěnme bùdǎdiànhuà gěiwǒ?" means "Why don't you call me?"
