September 6, 2010 at 9:59 AMMany Chinese kids do not like to eat rice because it tastes bland. I recently saw a TV commercial for a rice cooker that claims it cooks rice to such perfect and tasty condition that kids would love to eat it. Seems parents will spend money on anything for their kids.

August 28, 2010 at 4:18 PM骄傲/jiāoào and 自豪/zìháo both mean "pride", or "be proud of". But 骄傲/jiāoào can also mean "arrogrant" and "cocky". 自豪/zìháo does not carry the same kind of negative connotation.
