斌/bīn is commonly used in boys' names because the two parts of the character: 文/wén means being well educated and 武/wǔ means to be athletic. We have a saying "文武双全"/wénwǔshuāngquán, which means to have a combination of the two qualities.

几块钱(ji3kuai4qian2) ia frequently used if you know the price is relatievly low, i.e. in single digit or low double digits. That's because 几块钱(ji3kuai4qian2) implies single digit price.

It's a paradox: because the public places tend to be dirty, it compels people to be very sensitive about hygiene in the private realm. That's why we always wear slippers not shoes at home and don't sit on the bed unless wearing PJ's, etc.

We'd say "防皱霜/fángzhòushuāng" for anti wrinkle cream. 防/fáng means "to guard against" as in 防晒霜/fángshàishuāng/anti sun screen.

无聊 and 没意思 can both mean "bored", but they can also mean "boring". To make the distinction, you can use the word "觉得”, which means "to feel".

他觉得很无聊、他觉得很没意思 clearly means "he is bored".

美白/měibái is the most common word to use for "whitening".
