OK, another question.  If 馆呢就是一个地方, why use 院 (yuan4) for hospitals and movie theaters (Yi1yuan4, Dian4ying3yuan4)?  what's a yuan4?

RE: chanelle77's    comment, in Chicago's chinatown restaurants use 酒家 (jiu3 jia1). 

Also, is 家 the counting word for all these different types of establishments?

As for lihai, I note that in English, "awful" and "awesome" have the same root of "awe", so when something's really big so as to cause "awe" it can be really big in a good or bad way.

while I would have guesed, ta1 shi4 yi1 dian4 peng4

Is it always Subject 有一点儿 adjective?

Also, two comments on translation in the expansion:

1) 那个牌子的车大概要多少钱？

Has 牌子 translated as "kind", not "brand".  "Kind" might be, what, zhong4?

I'm also generally confused by use of qu4 instead of yao4 in

我去买手机，顺便看看电脑

It seems that the translation is confusing "going to" as in future with "going to" in movement, like

我下午去超市

I note that the husband uses "ai"4 爱 instead of "xihuan".  I thought a qing wen told us that "love" was not used for liking a food.
