scheu: I'm awfully not sure but it could be 打九十五（95）折。 However, I've seen a 90%打折 sign in HK。 or a 75%打折. I need someone to confirm this though as I'm awful in Chinese numbers. :)

Hi auntie! What's Kiasi and Kiasu? I'm sure it's Singlish and it's Hokkien as well but I hear it in the Hokkien speaking diaspora here. They always say: "Stop being Kiasi!" or "He's so kiasu!"

Here's another one...的 can be pronounced as di5 ;de5 & dei5. In Cantonese they pronounce it as dik. It's interchangeable.:)

Stupid Enter button... light: don't worry, It's not used as a whole. It's mostly used in compounds and the pronunciation depends on the compound. Ex: 樂隊 yue4dui4 - music band 樂園 le4yuan4 - paradise;haven 佳得樂 gaai dak lok - Gatorade (I'm not sure if this is used in Mandarin though) I think all you have to do is know the compound with 樂.

Thanks Amber! Light: 隻 can be used as a measure word for some animals...but don't use it on cattle. If I'm not mistaken, use 頭 for cattle.
