I don't get the "double / inner / triple eyelid" thing at all. Can anybody enlighten me what this is all about? What is a "double eyelid" and why would one want to get rid of it?

nicolas, first: Please accept my apologies for the typo. As you might have guessed it was meant to be "burning". I will refrain from providing you with some conclusions from the debate here, because I am not worthy drawing those anyway. I sincerely wish you all the best on your fast lane to success. Seriously: Avoid our detours and mistakes. Listen to accomplished masters and clear rules. By all means do not follow us into that jungle out there. Simply ignore our comments. One final tip: Absolutely avoid talking to natives. Because that is when confustion kicks in. All the best! Henning

nicolas, exactly. Perfect example. I love it. Together closing in on the wonders of the language with all it's ambiguity that often goes beyond simple grammar rules. Building up knowledge together - burining it into the brain. Truely: The beauty of group learning. I agree.

To really appreciate this story you need some background information on this place. I found an obsure website recently about the 空落族 and their dark cults that revolve around gruesome beasts which are supposedly living in the unexplored, intricate cave system of 寂州, sometimes coming out at night, craving for prey, scratching at the well-locked doors of the 空落族, snarling, whining... According to some conspiricy theories the government sent several expeditions to the cave system, but none ever returned. The (naturally) high radiation levels at the areas provide a fertile ground for some really bizzare theories, which I as a sceptic of course do not at all believe. Unfortunatelly the website is either blocked now or gone out of service, as if it never existed... I wonder why the CPod team hasn't provided us with all that information. Maybe they are part of the conspiracy?

nicolas, "Is an intermediate learner qualified to teach?" He certainly is. Often even newbie students make good teachers. The beauty of group learning. Let's explore this language together.
