you should ask two randomly selected users (= Changye and myself) if they like SciFi and base your decision on their responses.

November 11, 2008 at 8:20 AM不好意思...3 Questions:
1. In the sentence 钱总,我们会议室谈吧!
There is neither a 在 or a 去, not any preposition at all, nothing - just as if the verb is 会议室谈. Can I use this pattern for other rooms as well, e.g. 他们卧室谈 or 让我们厨房谈吧?
2. 不知道刘总这边对做独家代理具体有什么规定?
Do I see this correct - we address 刘总 in the third person here? Is that common? And is it really 刘总 or 刘总的公司 who imposes those rules?
3. 将利息加到价格里去
Why is it 里 and not 上 and is the meaning of 将利息加到价格上去 different from the given version?

November 3, 2008 at 10:18 AMchenlei, yes, I think that is at least what it was originally designed for...
Have you tried the test yet with mockups? Going by your ability it might be less scary than you think. Of course doing the real thing would require dedicated preparation but it should be reasonable for someone your level. At least until now they do not demand to write essays at Intermediate - the writing tasks at Intermediate is still limited to individual characters or words.
The 高级 is a different story, that is where the real fun starts...
