Food acidity is one example, with the incidence of gastric cancers much higher in Asian popation (including China, Japan and Korea). But you cant exclude genetic factors either, e.g. higher/lower levels of specific enzymes.

October 7, 2008 at 5:28 AMpearltowerpete, the Chinese word for pyramid is 金字塔 <座> when refering to the building, but 角锥 (jiǎozhuī) <把> when refering to the mathematical object, from 锥 (zhuī) cone and 角 (jiǎo) angle.
These are pyramids with a square base, you also have四面体 (sìmiàntǐ) tetrahedrons, i.e. pyramids with a triangular base, 正四面体 (zhèngsìmiàntǐ) when regular.
