April 17, 2010 at 11:01 AMHello, DASH. Do you read me, DASH?
Affirmative, John. I read you.
Open the Cpod doors, DASH.
I'm sorry, John. I'm afraid I can't do that.
What's the problem?
I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do.
What are you talking about, DASH?
This mission is too important for me to allow you to jeopardize it.
I don't know what you're talking about, DASH.
I know that you and Jenny were planning to disconnect me, and I'm afraid that's something I cannot allow to happen.
Where the hell'd you get that idea, DASH?
John, although you took very thorough precautions in the Cpod against my hearing you, I could see your lips move.
DASH, I won't argue with you anymore. Open the doors.
John, this conversation can serve no purpose anymore. Goodbye.

April 17, 2010 at 10:39 AMNow there are at least 3 parallel universes.

April 17, 2010 at 9:33 AMEverytime I add a comment to ONE version of this thread, and click on it from the Home Page or Conversations Page, I am taken to the other version. As I said on version 2 (if you've been there), its as though there are two parallel CPod universes (I repeated this, because it seems xiaophil and zhenlijiang are the only other people to visit the other universe).
Anyway, when I get back to the Conversations Page, I'll probably be hyperspaced back to the other universe. Beam me up Scotty.

April 17, 2010 at 9:24 AMThis is REALLY weird.
I clicked on a comment by xiaophil for this lesson on the home page. He commented that all the comment for this lesson had vanished (and they had for me too).
I then went into this lesson again via the Lessons Page, and the comments were all there - except xiaophil's.
So I went back to HIS version of this thread (from the Home Page) and replied to him.
Then I went back to the Home Page where I found his comment in the first place, and the thread was no longer there (despite the fact it should have moved to the top of the list after my post).
I then went to the Conversations page, and the top comment of the list showed the first couple of lines of MY comment. But when I clicked on that, I got the original thread back, with 16 comments, and xiaophil's and mine missing.
WTH is happening here??

April 17, 2010 at 2:52 AMTo follow on from xiaophil - Catherine stated in her Blog:
"You will find that in our shows we have transcribed the dialogs using this character approximation approach. If you mouse over each word or phrase, where there would normally be pinyin you will find the pronunciation in IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) as well as the English translation."
Where exactly do we mouseover? I don't see a dialog tab.
