By the way, in Australia, the item showing in the lesson photograph isn't typically called a sandal. Sandals in Australia refers to thongs - I think you have a different word for them in the US. What is the Chinese word for thongs?

July 5, 2010 at 9:03 AMI'm wondering - 'previous lessons'? What are they? CPod states that the lessons can be attempted in any order. So this could very well be someone's first.
Anyway, the reason I'm doing this is that another of John's claims is that you should be able to learn from CPod without using any external resources. I believe that this is impossible.
