Wow, looks like my printer is going to get a workout tomorrow.

Actually, it does work, for reading - I do a lot of copying and pasting. I was just comparing it to the CPod review, where we have the opportunity to listen to the sample sentences (offline). I just wish I wasn't the one who had to come up with my own vocabulary lists for those sentences.

The problem with Nciku is that you can't take the sentences away with you and listen to them. I can't learn online - I have to sit down away from the distraction of the computer when studying.

In any case, it wouldn't take CPod any more time - just write the sample sentences first, then base the supplementary vocabulary on them - in fact, it would probably save time.

I suggested some time ago that the supplementary vocabulary should be linked to the expansion sentences. But John just doesn't seem to get it.

Having said that, I don't bother looking at the supplementary vocab any more, so perhaps things have changed in recent lessons.

Or perhaps, because its not me asking this time, he might pay attention.

With the emphasis on had.

Somehow I don't think he'll go down as one of our better Prime Ministers.

All political speak, and little action (with a couple of obvious exceptions).

"Oh, but what a nice man".

The dropdown menu at the top of the page says 'All Active Lessons'. Instead select 'Intermediate' or 'Elementary', etc. All the lessons from that level show up.

By the way, I did a test do see if Cpod had properly fixed one of its tech problems. I finished my previous post with an unpaired html code 'strong', meaning 'bold'. By unpaired, I mean I didn't finish it with a '/strong' code.

Sure enough, the bold formatting carried forward into your comment.

Not fixed yet CPod.

I don't use the dashboard at all, except to remove all lessons that pop up.

Anyway, I just had a play, and I was able to reinstate removed lessons.

Just go to 'manage lessons', select a particular level from the dropdown menu, and click the icon once to bookmark a lesson.

Having said that, you should be able to do this from the lesson itself.

Thanks tal.

Well, we wouldn't know what they intend to do, because they refuse to tell us.

Regarding the mess, have a look at my comment regarding your transcripts group.

Oh, and sorry to everyone for flooding the Conversations page. I was just trying to repost all my links.
