so is there any different between 地上 and 地面? also if you can say 海边, how would you say the surface of the sea?

okay so if you are on the air plane and they ask you what do you want you can say “我喝水就好了” or does that sound odd?

I want to ask, in this "喝茶", it implies that they already have tea there with them right?

would it still make sense if you replaced 加上 with 包括?  also could you replace 延误 with 耽误?

so with 那就麻烦你了, do you make a request and then say that afterwards?

Something I still a little bit confused about:

Foot Therapy: 做了半年足疗就好了 is past

The Jealous Friend: 我吃了龙虾就好了 is future

Is it only context that indicates the difference in tense?

so if you say 本来就是这样 and it means "it's always been like this", how would you say same thing but in a surprised manner, I'm guessing you couldn't just switch 本来 and 原来 around right?

Some sentences I thought up based on grammar points discussed in the lesson:

我不在大学,就是在工作 (If I'm not at university, I'm at work)

我主要星期天去健身房 (I mainly go to the gym on Sundays)

我朋友硬要拉我来中国 (My friend insisted on dragging me to go to China)

中国的印象跟你想象中的一样好吗 (Was your impression of China as good as you imagined?)

你的中文能力主要是靠坚持 (Your Chinese ability is dependant on your persistance)

I'm sure I'm stretching the rules a bit so it'd be much appreciated if someone could correct them for me :)

so then you can use 像 as a sort of 比如 then?  is it more casual or something?
