“俗称需要长期修养和滋补调理的某些慢性病”指的是 糖尿病、高血压、高脂肪血症、冠心病等等 are actually chronic diseases which need long term treatment mainly found amongst rich people。therefore 富贵病 indirectly means 有钱人的病。
But poor people may also get it if they live the lifestyle of the rich。

我给大家讲一下一些医学知识
心血管疾病也称心脏冠状疾病，英文叫coronary artery disease （CAD）or ischemic heart disease （IHD）rather than heart disease （心脏病）because heart disease is a general term for all forms of heart ailments including CAD and IHD。
高尿酸血症所导致的关节炎叫做痛风，英文叫Gout，是一种因尿酸累积而引起的疾病，也属于关节炎的一种 (therefore not all joint disorders are due to Gout）
脂肪瘤是种良性的肿瘤，英文称lipoma。这种瘤不会造成疼痛的（an interesting fact to point out)，所以对话里的那位先生的腰痛可能是其他病所致的，而不是脂肪瘤。
