June 7, 2009 at 12:16 PMdunderklumpen, yes! That's actually the only reason I want RJ's flashcard file.
You can import RJ's file into ZDT, then export it to a Pleco file...then import that file into Pleco. Very easy.

June 7, 2009 at 11:37 AMConnie/Pete, many thanks for the English translations. RJ, many thanks for the ZDT file...I'll send you an email.

June 7, 2009 at 1:55 AMOkay, I see. Maybe it's because I'm already a subscriber, but I don't see any English translations for this Dialogue Page.
I think this will be confusing to new users...it sounds like the link will take you to a page that lists the premium features.
Anyway, just seems confusing to me...but it's been a long week and maybe my brain isn't awake yet.

June 7, 2009 at 1:37 AMCpod, just wanted to let you know that the link to "check this out" goes to a demo dialogue for the Hungry Traveler.

June 6, 2009 at 1:18 PMPaul, you're right. I do have a tendency to "chide" comments that I don't like. My apologies, I should mind my own business.
I hope my contributions in the community far outweigh my less thoughtful comments.

June 3, 2009 at 12:15 PMBaba, excellent! You'll just have to go at them as slow as I will, one per week...if I'm lucky.
With all the recent great suggestions on studying the Intermediate lessons, I'm going to start taking these very slow.

June 3, 2009 at 4:43 AMSebire, I'm happy you thought so too. I thought it was hard, then read through the comments which made it sound easier than previous intermediate lessons.

June 2, 2009 at 1:31 PMHey paulinurus, could you please create a new thread for these kinds of posts? No sense in mucking up yet another lesson thread with the old bad translation topic.

June 11, 2009 at 5:11 AMxibanyawen, I have to agree with you. Sadly, I'm left with a sour taste.
I can understand hiding things from your current employer while looking for a new job. But it sets a very poor example to continue to lie about that (to thousands of people) after you are gone and begin working at the new job.
We're all adults here right? We understand how these things work. Why the need to lie? How about "Sorry, fans, for hiding things from you for so long, but this is why I left Praxis...to start working for another Chinese website. I'm very excited about the potential." We'd all be sad, but I think most would understand and say 加油. Again, this happens all the time.
Given the circumstances that have come to light since the start of "the other website", I don't see how it could be a coincidence that Amber just happened upon this job once she moved to NYC. If Amber could shed some light on that and show that it was an honest coincidence, I would apologize for this comment. Actually, I wish that were the case...I'd love to eat these words, but I doubt it will happen.
I think that we, the fans who have admired Amber for so long, deserved more respect than being lied to like this. It's pretty sad and disappointing really.
As for the other site, personally I think it's very weak. Even with the similarities to Cpod, it doesn't even compare. It's still young of course, but I think the gap is too wide to bridge. Even if it were better than Cpod, those sour grapes would keep me from ever joining.
