In the third expansion sentence:下周一把报告交给我,可以吗?, 下周一 is translated as "next week". Is this the standard way of saying "next week"? I would put it as "next Monday".

This is a fascinating view! Plenty of smaller vehicles. It has an "old China" feeling about it.

The topic tags are inefficient, eg "announcement" doesn't throw up any other lesson, although I remember at least one about subway announcements and one about airport announcements. What about letting members attach tags themselves, like on Amazon?

And then when disaster strikes, there's the whole hypocrisy of the relief efforts and commiseration. The next stage is probably one where building regulations are enacted but not implemented. Then only much later (2 earthquakes and millions of victims later) will the same stage as in Tokyo or California be reached, where regulations are in place and get implemented.

5th expansion sentence: 你好,我想订今晚六点四个人的位子 is translated ""Hello, I'd like to reserve a table for 4 at 6 o'clock tonight". Isn't it a seat (位子) rather than a table (桌子)? In a restaurant it wouldn't matter, they give you both. But in a cinema ...

Fair enough. This one however is rife for correction:

5th expansion sentence: "从上海去苏州很方便,隔十分钟就有一班汽车" Isn't it a bus (汽车), rather than a train (火车)?

05:39 - 所以我们有些听众这样~会很高兴,好像他见过这个 Chen Li。
I don't hear anything after "这样". "这样会" is allright, at best "这样也会"

05:56 - 嗯。所以~~觉得男孩子就要有一个很,光明的未来嘛,会给男孩子起~这个名字。
嗯。所以人家(ren2jia5)好像(hao3xiang4)
起~这个名字 : I think there's a verb pronounced "qi" that means "to call", like in "I called my child Harrold", but I'm not sure about how it's written.

6th line from the bottom, 我和孩子死了估计你都不知道 is rendered by "....you wouldn't even have noticed if the child had died". Isn't something missing here? "... if the child had died I reckon you wouldn't even have noticed". "估计" = to reckon.

Was a pun intended in this Qing Wen title? If so, it worked for me, I genuinely misread it first as "comparing butts". All the same, it turned out to be instructive.

This lesson is very realistic in the sense that sex education in all countries usually boils down to teaching about reproduction. Only in Amsterdam in the late 70s did Society cross the line and teach outright about "sex", i.e. how to achieve (mutual) orgasm. There were detailed TV documentaries for secondary school students, with close-up nudity, actually teaching foreplay techniques etc. People in neighbouring (conservative, roman catholic) Belgium were appalled.
