哈哈哈,Vera, 太好笑了。"He's on fire" 确实可以有你写的那个意思,但是我想问如果他身上真的有火的话,那应该怎么说?

Chinese: the "context language"

It might be time for me to begin learning a new language because I think I just heard myself say "Chinese is lame" one too many times

I have a language related question (Weird , huh?)

My question is, why doesn't the person in the dialog say 胸罩 instead of 内衣?would that not make more sense?

"In this lesson, two friends talk about the Middle East and its relationship to its most famous export."

(Sounds super awkward. I'm only mentioning this to reply to your suggestion. The intro is also really ignorant. Not all so called "Middle East" countries have oil. Afghanistan doesn't have much oil, which is one of the reasons it's so poor. Egypt doesn't have a lot of oil, and Israel and Palestine don't have much oil either. It's a big stereotype that's magnified in China. I liked the Chinese language elements to this lesson and think they're valuable, but besides that, this lesson mostly exudes ignorance.)
