March 15, 2013 at 4:37 PMThe first word I ever learned for "plunger" was 马桶拔 (mǎtǒngbá) , just like in this lesson. That was in Taiwan. My two mainland friends just taught me another word that I didn't know 马桶塞 (mǎtǒngsāi). Is there a difference between these two words? I was surprised when my two mainland friends told me that they haven't heard 马桶拔 used before.

Also, sometimes it's difficult to control how hot the water is, becuase it you turn the knob to make it hotter, it gets too hot, and if you go the other way it gets too cold. Basically, the knob is really sensitive and this makes it difficult to get the right amout of heat. How do we say the knob is too sensitive?
