So I don't think whoever chose this picture should feel bad or whatever, I just think it was a poor choice for the reasons I wrote above. Your avatar is so small that I can't even see what the guy is holding in his hand. It's different. I don't mind you tweaking at all; you have a right to express yourself.

Look at the girl's hand and mouth and look at the curtain in the background. I think this is precisely an Asian fetish picture.
It's fine if you disagree, but I wanted to express my point of view. I read an interesting book once about how Hollywood and the West feteshize and excoticize Asian women, but since living in Asia I've realized that it happens in Asia a lot more than in the West

This is actually a tricky question, so perhaps you might have to ask some of your Chinese friends what they think. It's tricky because bartenders (people who serve drinks behind bar-counters) usually do mix drinks (调酒), but not necessarily. Sometimes they just serve ready made drinks, such as wine, beer, or other non-mixed drinks

Let me ask the question in a different way. Suppose I go to a bar that is known for its beer. Suppose I go in and ask for a mojito, and the person working at the bar-counter says, "We only serve beer here". In this case, would that person who is working at the bar-counter, who only serves beer, be a 调酒师 in Chinese? If not, are there any other Chinese words or common ways to say it?
