May 8, 2008 at 3:22 AMGood for Yao Ming! I experienced "辣死了!" while visiting Chicago's Chinatown. wow. spicy cabbage. I took half a piece of this shredded cabbage stuff, chewed for about five seconds and immediately started having a coughing fit. I turned red,etc. I actually lost my voice for a few minutes. Let me just say, it wasn't pretty. It really did have great flavor, though. Kudos to the strong ones out there who can handle 辣菜!

Or, maybe a lesson on some things you might encounter in an office setting, like, "has so-and-so paid their invoice?", "what's the status of your report" and things like that?

March 16, 2008 at 3:05 AMHey guys, I'm a little curious about something. Is there a way to say "I'm dutch american", "irish american", "mexican american", "french canadian", etc? For example, if I said 我是荷兰的美国人 (wo shi helan de meiguoren) would that make any sense?
