Nice story mate. :)
reigau,
Yeah,I had the same unfruitful search. The best I could find was seperate entries..the ha suggesting laughable of course, and lou as ugly,low,vulgar,mean...so I suppose I would have put it together as suggesting one is a contemptable/laughable low life...but may be way off here.Hopefully we will get the answer here.

Nah,I can't take credit for the excellent photoshop job and thus it's not moi.I just wanted to join the intellegent 狗。。dogs [but hey,猴子 。。monkey's are also my fav..and you know I'm a huge fan of that show] and in wanting to change to an avatar of an intelligent looking dog remembered being sent an email a few years ago with a blurb [here..scroll just a little] first that you then had to click on a link afterwards to get the pic.The joke was a lot more effective that way.

Good observation, but I reckon if one did give birth to the above,it would be considered a 畸形.A ludicrous comment of course, but some women do have all sorts of irrational nightmares of what they may give birth to,and wouldn't even be surprised if something similar to the above had appeared in someones such nightmare ,perhaps in the presence of a 巧克力 craving[欲望].It doesn't help of course if the father to be ends up being a turkey during the pregnancy.

I noted the importance of the last line too.You guys should get together and discuss it over a pint or two, hehe.

April 22, 2009 at 5:03 AMI missed pevious's previous posts, but also really enjoyed Pete pointing out the pig insult and was impressed with Pete awarding a point where it was due.Good sport.
Also enjoyed reigau's "no good deed goes unpunished" comment.
joncui,
Did you see this thread here?

I didn't realise zoning laws got that specific though.Would it really get down to which areas art supplies are more likely to be found in as opposed to where you buy your DVD's ?

Yeah,I noticed that too,but it didn't detract too much from the main point in the dialogue which is that both procedures carry a not insignificant risk of miscarriage, nor from learning some good vocab which is even more to the point, and we can't expect CPod to be medical experts [though agree that if we're going to learn vocab we may as well have it as accurate as possible,so it's good to have the likes of yourself around to point out any discrepancies and help we Poddies out].But perhaps we should have the vocab for CVS.

Oh yes, even today the purported reliable ways of procreating the sex of your choice are legion, and can make for an interesting discussion amongst the old wives, but for me that is the limit of their use [excluding of course those conceptions utilising assisted reproductive technologies] until I see some well explained scientifically proven method.Glad you got your boy mate, but of course one swallow doesn't make a summer :)
I'd love to hear some current [or past ] Chinese ways of both trying to choose the sex of the baby and postconception trying to predict the sex.Anyone know any stories? I'm sure there must be many in China where there has been such an emphasis on boys.Of course the recent generations have only had one shot at it too, putting more pressure on the situation and thus even more emphasis on trying to choose/predict.
