小phil,你说“。。但是我一点也信仰”。。。这个意思是不是。。you believe a little??

I sense that CPod has a descriptivism bent which I think is the most useful approach when as a learner one quickly wants to come to terms with how to actually use the language both in output and comprehension.I think traditional text book methods likely have a more prescriptive bent and I think that likely frustrates learners when they try and put it in practice and they see the descrepancy and it can also be dry and boring. However I would think that at some point prescriptivism would be important if one was to excel at the language.I only had time to read the intro to the article you linked to but I liked the end of the intro:

"But they can also be complementary, and usually exist in dynamic tension"

thanks for pointing this one out pretzell.Maybe,as tech changes so fast, they could do one at one of those levels where someone is trying to decide between an iphone and an android.Should provide plenty of material to discuss the pros and cons of each when comparing.

thanks changye..amazing photos..the Japanese mums have raised the bar really high.I've seen these bento before but not seen the Chinese 盒饭 but I gather from what you're saying that two significant differences are that bento are generally cold whereas Chinese 盒饭 are generally hot and the artistic presentation of the Japanese bento.Yeah,I should have thought of that.

Sorry, that's on youtube. It seems much easier to find videos of pulling lanzhou noodles on youtube than it is on baidu video, perhaps because it is of more interest to foreigners and everyday mundane stuff to locals?

Who knows anything about this?:

labelled as 拦着拉面式格斗。。lanzhou pulled noodles style wresting.
