...if so,it'd be interesting to see an example of the forms to translate the Hanzi.

February 25, 2010 at 1:26 PMhehe,good question mate and welcome to CPod.Classic,the old D&M...I'm wondering now if that is an Aussie turn of phrase.It kinda feels like it but some of these things are hard to be sure about.I'd like to know the answer too.I strongly suspect that there is nothing that represents a literal translation [as it sounds like you do too] but there must be something similar [though I doubt it'll have quite the nuance of meaning that D&M means to us...your description is spot on].Meaningful can be 有意义 but of course this alone doesn't approximate anything close to the full package you're after.Good luck. :)

But if you want to try looking yourself [I'm not sure what you can and can't see] then the title of the above clip was "sheldon helps penny at the hospital" and is from "the big bang theory" tv series.
