bi-la-bi-al

pinyin would be :bai lei bi al [though there's no al in pinyin ....it's the same al as in pal]

hanzi 白累鼻al

bi=2

labial=lips

“(bilabial consonants)”

。。I like that.Is that what they're called ,hey? ..makes sense..bilabial...one's where both lips come together...you can just imagine this being one of the easiest and most natural actions for a suckling infant...and that's exactly what they do when they first start babbling those sounds.

oh yeah,I remember reading about that somewhere ages ago....it said something about it would make the recipient look too eager or greedy to open it straight away.Any opinions on how true this still is [or ever was...how common]?

想起来从小看过一个Dave Allen小品。。一个主教脱他的很高尖的帽子;出现他的头是一样的形状

tallest hats I've ever seen.What's is say on them? From the expression on their faces looks like they're being shamed and their heads will be on the blocks.
