Great story bluesky..thanks. This is just the sort of experience I'd love to have and I can't help but wonder how long ago this was and whether I'll make it to China before it changes too much and this sort of scenario becomes unlikely.

oh, I don't think Rugby League would be the same without Ray Warren's calling which adds a great flavour, but I haven't watched in some time so didn't pick up the reference...well explained. Maybe he should start a reality tv show where he calls queue behaviour, hehe.

ok, now this word intrigues me : 肚脐

breakdown:

肚..belly

脐....naval

it is this qí 脐 that caught my attention. I have previously heard that it is thought that one's 气4 [vital breath or vital energy] resides in one's dāntián 丹田 which I have been told is just below the umbilicus [and I see is defined as 2 inches below the umbilicus and also defined as pubic region]. Anyhow as these two qi's are homophones [except tone] and are anatomically 2 inches apart I couldn't help but wonder if there was a link.

Also wondering about the breakdown of 丹田。。。I guess it's red field ...is red kind of representing heat/energy and field is perhaps just referring to that area of the body.

sorry pretzell...it's nothing to do with being advanced.....quite the opposite...it's just bad grammar on my part I'm sure. What I was trying to say in response to your post was:

no experience [yep ..you got that right mate].......continually searching the rubbish bin but [I meant to add here ..到现在..up until now] still haven't found any kids
